Make the most of your Summer 2019 through the Arizona Youth Ministries Summer Internship. As an AZYM Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to impact thousands of young people as they encounter God at summer camps. If you want to grow in your leadership both spiritually and professionally, maximize the summer months and consider investing in our four-week (five youth camps) Summer Internship this year.
As a Summer Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of Arizona Youth Ministries leadership team who makes Youth Camps possible. You will have the privilege of building relationships and connecting with all of the youth pastors, speakers, and campers from churches all over Arizona during six youth camps (May 28 - June 19) at Granite Hills Retreat and Conference Center. You will be challenged as you grow in your spiritual leadership, communication skills, physical strength, and mental endurance.
The AZYM Summer Internship is designed for young adults, ages 16 - 25*, and we require a four-week commitment, including a full day of orientation on May 28th. Interns must submit a pastoral, parent/guardian, and non-related adult reference (included in the application).

*Students under the age of 18 are required to register for the first week of youth camp (or the week your church attends) and attend as a student before starting their Summer Internship. This is to ensure every student makes the most of their summer experience.
The Summer Internship Begins with leader orientation at 10am on Tuesday, May 28th, and concludes with the final day of youth camp on June 19th. You will be responsible for transportation to and from the campground. Interns under the age of 18 CANNOT stay on the campground Friday - Saturday night, and are responsible to coordinate their own transportation each week. For those ages 18+, you are welcome to stay on the campground over the weekend to rest & hang out with other leaders. Food will be provided by the kitchen staff.
