GRIFFIN McGRATH

YOUTH & YOUNG ADULTS DIRECTOR

Griffin is passionate about paving the way for the emerging generation to encounter God and engage in His global mission. Griffin’s father died unexpectedly in office as the Global Youth Ministries Director for the Assemblies of God. As a teenager, Griffin challenged the narrative of society’s “fatherless generation.” He desires to carry out his father’s legacy of global missions and sow the seed of the gospel in this generation.

Since 2013, Griffin has led the youth and young adult ministries in Arizona. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Biblical Studies at Evangel University and Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from Northwest University. Currently, he is working on a doctorate with Southeastern University with OneHope in the Hoskins School of Mission.

His home is Arizona, but he enjoys traveling internationally and focusing in the areas of leadership development, missions, and publishing.

He and his wife, Bethany, met at a National Youth Convention when they were just 13 years old. They started dating long-distance during their senior year of high school and have been married since 2010. Their greatest joy is parenting their two miracle boys, Myler William and Wallace Mark.

MONICA HORTIALES

Monica is the Assistant Youth Director for the Arizona Ministry Network. She was called by God into ministry when she was just eleven years old at our Arizona Youth Camps. She became a youth pastor at age nineteen and ministered in North Phoenix from 2013-2018 before moving to Thailand for a year to do missions work through the Assemblies of God MAPS program. Monica loves to travel and has a heart for the nations; she even spent a year in New Zealand after she graduated High School! She is passionate about encouraging and equipping students to find their "YES." She holds great hope in Arizona discipling the nations.
