Run for One

Run a 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon this December to help send missionaries to the nations.

Every runner commits to raising funds through Speed the Light-providing a vehicle for Scott and Chrystal Martin as they take the Gospel to Iceland.

REGISTRATION INFO

  • Pick the race that fits you best.

    • 5K – Great for beginners (run or walk!)

    • 10K – A challenge, but doable

    • Half Marathon (21K) – For those ready to go all in

    👉 You can run, jog, or walk- everyone is welcome.

  • Sign up for the run and secure your spot.

    Once you register, you’ll receive your own personal fundraising page through Hope Gives.

    This is how you’ll raise money for the mission.

  • Each participant is encouraged to raise $500.

    Don’t stress! You’re not doing this alone.

    You can:

    • Ask family and friends to support you

    • Share your link on social media

    • Tell people what you’re running for

    👉 Most people hit their goal just by asking 10–15 people.

  • Start preparing for your race!

    Whether you walk, jog, or run- just be consistent.

“In 1945, Ralph Harris had a vision… 
What if students could help take the Gospel to the ends of the earth by providing missionaries the necessary equipment, and transportation that they needed? The vision came to pass and since then students all over America have raised over $300 million dollars, and have purchased 10s of thousands of trucks, cars, vans, sound systems, and countless other essential tools for missionaries across the globe. 
This year in 2026, that vision continues. Scott and Chrystal Martin are missionaries who are pioneering a new work of God in Iceland, but they lack the much needed transportation to accomplish this dream. That's where Arizona student ministries come in! 

Run For One is how we are going to do it! Our goal is that every step taken, every mile completed, we will be able to raise the money needed to get the Martins the vehicle they need! 

Scripture tells us, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news” (Romans 10:15)
